Prayer

1.  Can people of different faiths pray together?

Just as people of different faiths can talk to each other, so too they can pray together.  This is what Pope John Paul II both did and said when he joined in a prayer for peace during an inter-religious meeting at Assisi in 1986.  There are other Christians who find this level of dialogue is not supported by the evidence of the Bible.  For this reason they will not pray with people from other religious traditions.  For a discussion of these issues, click here.
