New Age books

"New Age Movement" is abbreviated as NAM.

There are many publishing houses devoted to the NAM books, and there are hundreds of books available which claim to be NAM when they could be seen under a different classification, and vice versa. Usually these books are found under the classification of Philosophy/Religion/Occult in the bookshops. There is a danger, however, as many NAM books have Christian-sounding titles but, in fact, come from an occultic source, or from the dictations of channelled spirits. If they are from this source you will find subtle denials of Christian teaching in them. You will also find that Jesus of Nazareth, our Crucified and Risen Lord, is not referred to as THE CHRIST. He is spoken of as an enlightened man of his time, but that is all. We are more evolved nowadays, they claim, and must leave Christianity behind.

Many NAM books cover a wide range of subjects, and not all of the material is bad, but great discernment is needed in every case, as so many Christians have been led astray by reading them.
